EDGE unveils two homeland security solutions at the 2022 World Defense Show

RIYADH: EDGE Group entity SIGN4L, a regional leader in the development of agile, adaptive and reliable electronic warfare and intelligence (EW&I) solutions, today announced the launch of two new homeland security systems at the cutting-edge technology at the World Defense Show (WDS) held in Riyadh until March 9.

SIGN4L introduced ActiveCell, a tactical cellular network analyzer, and WiFinder, a sophisticated counterterrorism product for homeland security and law enforcement agencies. Both state-of-the-art solutions ensure the highest level of protection, situational awareness and information superiority in an increasingly complex environment. As governments increasingly view border security as a high priority, SIGN4L is well positioned and equipped as a premier partner.

Waleid Al Mesmari, Vice President of Program Management, Electronic Warfare and Intelligence, EDGE, said, “We are excited to launch our latest advanced and integrated intelligence solutions to market. EDGE and SIGN4L are at the forefront of helping customers expand their options in a rapidly changing world by working with them to manage complex information, security and performance requirements. Our two new systems are great examples of our capabilities and reflect our commitment to developing local technologies and solutions that keep our communities and people safe.

ActiveCell is a complete software-defined radio (SDR) modular intelligent cellular network monitoring and analysis system that provides detection, monitoring and location capabilities on 2G, 3G and 4G network technologies. The easy-to-use model enables end users to perform forensic analysis of cellular networks in urban and rural environments. Additionally, it can obtain network operator data from a missing person’s cell phone, providing a critical advantage during search and rescue missions.

WiFinder is a state-of-the-art situational awareness product that was created in close collaboration with law enforcement units to create a powerful and easy-to-use solution for law enforcement. The integrated solution offers a wide range of features that allow police and security services to covertly monitor communications, making it an important tool in the fight against serious organized crime and terrorism.

SIGN4L is part of the Electronic Warfare & Intelligence cluster of EDGE, an advanced technology group for defense and beyond that ranks among the top 25 military vendors in the world.
