In his statement, the President highlighted key milestones achieved in recent times: “We have come a long way to empower women and youth and develop a diverse economy. Space hosted our first Emirati astronaut and our Hope spacecraft in historic milestones that have made our nation the first in this area in the Arab region and the fifth in the world.
“We launched the Arab region’s first multi-unit nuclear power plant that transformed the UAE into a regional hub for renewable and clean energy. We have adopted a national strategy to retain and attract talent in a way that further strengthens the UAE’s stature in the Gulf, Arab, Islamic and Global. And under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, we are hosting Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s largest trade fair for the first time in the history of the region. “
